I know I am earlyyyyyyyyy……
But this year I decided to plan Christmas out using three different methods. I wrote out a list of Christmas Activities I’d like to this year, a list of Christmas Cookies I’d like to bake, and a list of Christmas Movies I’d like to watch.
This first list is a list of fun Christmas activities that will make the season come alive. Many people complete these tasks as an advent calendar of things they’d like to complete through the month of December, but because I am working from three lists this year of things to do, I wont be completing them one at a time. This is also a tentative list of things I’d like to do, they are not scheduled into a planner, but if I had kids I probably would do something like that instead.
The list of activities isn’t Christmasy all in itself, its doing these things with the ones you love that make Christmas so special.
So here’s my list of activities I’d like to do this year:
1. Decorate the House for Christmas
2. Put Lights on the House
3. Game Night
4. Write Christmas Cards
5. Drive Around and look at Christmas Lights
6. Build Gingerbread House
7. Caroling by Candlelight
8. Make Christmas Ornament
9. Ugly Sweater Christmas Party
10. Pick out a Christmas Tree with a cup of Mint Hot Cocoa
11. Decorate the Christmas Tree while listening to Christmas Music
12. Family Shopping at the Mall
13. Christmas at Westbury Gardens
14. Give Christmas Cookies as Gifts to Coworkers
15. Create Photo Booth with Props for Family Pictures
16. Make a Christmas Craft
17. Decorate Christmas Cookies
Obviously they are in no particular order! Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and really take time to enjoy the holidays this year!
Sometimes I cant express what I feel with words…
Fall is the best season ever!
There is really no competition. I mean besides it being absolutely GORGEOUS there is the crispness in the air, hot apple cider to drink, cozy sweat shirts to wear, pumpkin and apples to pick, hayrides to go on, festivals to go to, pumpkin lattes to drink, and Thanksgiving to celebrate!
There is no other season I prefer and I am ever so grateful that autumn has arrived! =)
I choose to live for Him today. I choose to proclaim His name. I choose to meet with Him and linger in His presence. I choose to serve Him by serving others. I choose to acknowledge His goodness and watch as His plan unfolds today. I choose to be a part of His plan today. I will serve The Lord with my whole heart today. I will choose to embrace His unfailing love today. I will choose to accept His forgiveness for my failures today. I choose to walk as a renewed daughter of the Most High. I choose to play my part as the body of Christ today. I choose to embrace my role as heiress of the King of Kings today. I choose to walk in the power that He has given me today! What will you choose today?

Remember, when you encounter adversity, know that God isn’t finished yet. He never ends on a negative. He has more in store for you if you will keep pressing forward. Don’t let your thoughts get stuck on the circumstances. Instead, lift up your eyes to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Trust that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf, and He will lead you into a flourishing finish!
